11:35 am: According to the Seattle Police Department, SPD and the King County Medical Examiner conducted a death investigation under the Ballard Bridge this morning. SPD tells us the investigation involved a deceased woman in her 40’s. The body was turned over to the King County Medical Examiner and they will determine a cause and manner of death.
Detectives told SPD there was no obvious signs of trauma.
