Celebrate the holidays in Ballard with a few events

There are some upcoming events in Ballard to celebrate the holidays.

Thursday, November 26

  • Seattle Turkey Trot: This is the 9th year of the Turkey Trot, which starts in the Sunset Hill neighborhood of Ballard, and finishes at Golden Gardens Park. All proceeds from this race go to support the Ballard Food Bank. Visit the website for cost and more information.

Friday, November 27

  • Ballard Gives Black Friday: participating merchants donate a portion of the day’s sales to a charity of their choice. 9am-6pm. Visit here for more information and a list of participating merchants.

Saturday, November 28

  • Shop Local Saturday: support the locally owned and operated businesses of the Ballard merchant community.

Sunday, December 6

  • Ballard Holiday Festival at Marvin’s Garden Park, (22nd Avenue NW and NW Ballard Avenue) from 2pm-5pm. All activities are free; Santa photos, popcorn and cocoa, and musical entertainment.
