The 10th annual Sustainable Ballard Barter Fair and Holiday Party will be this Sunday, December 6.
What: Sustainable Ballard Barter Fair and Holiday Party
When: Sunday, December 6, 6:00pm-9:00pm
Where: Ballard Odd Fellows Hall (1706 NW Market St)
Cost: Suggested donation of $5 which also includes one raffle ticket for gifts and gift certificates from local businesses. Each additional raffle is $5 each. Raffle is at 8:30 and you must be present to win.
“This event brings together the community, encourages creativity and sharing, creates friendships and offers people a relaxing and enjoyable alternative to the more commercial holiday gift buying experience.”
There will also be food, drinks and live music by Michael Good.
Many barters will be accepted. Past year’s barter items have included:
- handmade scarves, jewelry and pottery
- homemade holiday decorations, swags, candles, cards
- homegrown or foraged produce
- homemade jams, truffles, dried fruit, granola, sauerkraut, beer and other delectable goodies
- services such as; dog-walking, tax assistance, home-sitting, massage, etc.
