Ballard High School Sophomore, Addison Baker, has organized a “Soap For Hope” Drive at Ballard High School benefiting Queen Anne Help Line.
From now through January 29th, donations of new and unopened toiletry items are being collected in the Ballard High School Main Office and Library (1418 NW 65th St) during school hours.
“Do you have an extra bar of soap at home of maybe a spare toothbrush? Just something this small can help a person in need,” says Baker.
Once collected the items will be distributed to people facing hardships in the Ballard, Queen Anne and Magnolia communities. The items needed include:
- bars of soap
- bottles of shampoo and conditioner
- razors
- toothbrushes
- toothpaste
- lotion
- lip balm
- rolls of toilet paper
