PNA Village seeks volunteers in Ballard

The Phinney Neighborhood Association’s PNA Village is coming to Ballard and the team is seeking volunteers!

Membership in the PNA Village Program empowers people to remain in their homes and neighborhoods while staying active and engaged as they age.

Volunteers provide much of the talent and energy behind the PNA Village and create a vital network of support for our members who choose to age in place. Many PNA Village members are also volunteers, but you do not need to be a member in order to volunteer.

“We have many different kinds of volunteer opportunities, including transportation, handy work, home safety tasks, gardening, community-building, administrative support, and more,” says PNA Village Program Coordinator Alex Gramps.

Volunteers are needed in Sunset Hill, Loyal Heights, Adams, West Woodland, Crown Hill, North Beach, Blue Ridge, Broadview, Bitter Lake, Whittier Heights, Greenwood and Phinney Ridge.

If you are available during the day on weekdays, interested in helping seniors in your community age their way and are looking for a volunteer opportunity that can flex to fit your schedule simply apply online.
