The talented students of the Ballard High School Performing Arts program are set to present their spring musical Children of Eden this week.

The musical opens on Thursday, March 3, with a Gala Evening to benefit the Ballard Performing Arts programs.

Based on the story of Genesis, the age-old conflict of parents and children takes the stage in this epic, heartfelt musical production.

Locals are invited to attend the gala and show their support. Tickets for the evening include a reception to meet the cast at 5 p.m., a buffet dinner at 5:45 p.m., and curtain for the play at 7:30 p.m. Special guest, State Senator Reuven Carlyle, will also speak at the event.

Individual tickets for dinner and the show cost $50 and patron tickets, with the best seats, cost $75. Attendees can sponsor a table of eight for $400, or a Patron table for 8 for $600.

Tickets to the Opening Night Gala and the remaining performances on March 4, 5, 10, 11 and 12 can be purchased online. Tickets for the performances after opening night are $15 for adults and $10 for students/seniors.
