FRIDAY, March 4

  • Live Music
    • Jazz at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St). 7 p.m. – Gretchen Rumbaugh and The Sirens Of Swing – Portland cabaret chanteuse Gretchen Rumbaugh sings Beatles songs; vocal trio The Sirens Of Swing (Karen Kay Cody, Joanne Klein, Jayne Muirhead) bring lush harmonies to vintage swing. 9 p.m. – Angie Louise and Kate Loitz – Songwriter-chanteuse Angie Louise performs a set of her songs about barflies, drifters and dreamers in “Notes From The Underground”; singer-actress Kate Loitz sings vintage movie music in “Jeepers Creepers! It Came From Hollywood!”
    • Anderson East ‘Devil In Me’ Tour with Dylan LeBlanc at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $14.
    • Dead End Friends, Hungry Skinny and Uh Oh Eskimo at Sunset Tavern (5433 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $8.
    • Blueburr at Conor Byrne Pub (5140 Ballard Ave NW) at 9 p.m. Tickets $8.

SATURDAY, March 5

  • Kids Art and Craft Class at Ballard Elks (6411 Seaview Ave NW) from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Cost is $5 and the event is open to the public.
  • National Day of Unplugging at Magnolia Library (2801 34th Ave W) from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Board games, coloring pages and snacks will be on offer. Event is free
  • Intro to Yoga Workshop at Kula Movement Center (5340 Ballard Ave NW) from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. This semi-private workshop will bring more understanding, awareness, and catering to your needs.Cost is $45 and preregistration is required. Register online or call (206) 972-2999.

    • Emporium Presents: A Tribute to Johnny Cash-Cash’d Out at Tractor Tavern (5213 Ballard Ave NW) at 7 p.m. Tickets $25.

    • Jazz at Egan’s Ballard Jam House (1707 NW Market St). 7 p.m. Arwen Dewey – performing French movie music. 9 p.m. Kim Maguire  presents “Between The Sheets.”
