A 37-year-old man was arrested on Monday evening are reports that he was threatening and harassing families at Ballard Commons Park.

On Monday, August 15, SPD officers learned of an incident that had occurred earlier in the day at Ballard Commons Park.
The officers spoke with a victim who stated that the suspect had threatened to kill families inside the park. The victim said that he felt threatened and he took his young daughter and left the area. He reported the incident later to 911.
While officers spoke with the victim, he stated that the suspect had returned to the park. Officers contacted the 37-year-old man inside the park and took him into custody without incident after the victim positively identified him. Officers booked the suspect into King County Jail for harassment.
