Macefield Music Festival set for this weekend

The music festival created in honor of Edith Macefield is back again for its fourth year this weekend from September 30 – October 2.

The Macefield Music Festival will feature over 20 bands playing in the heart of Ballard in several local music venues and on an outdoor stage.

The shows start on Friday at 7 p.m. on the outdoor KEXP MainStage (at 20th and Ballard Ave) and at the Tractor Tavern.

On Saturday, the music will kick off at 2:30 p.m. and will go till late, spread between Sunset, Tractor, Conor Byrne, Sonic Boom, Hotel Albatross, and the outdoor KEXP mainstage at 20th and Ballard Ave. On Sunday, all shows will be Hotel Albatross. Click here for the complete schedule.

Tickets for the event are $55 for a weekend pass; or $35 for a single Friday ticket and $45 for a single Saturday ticket. Buy tickets here.

    So they screw up the neighborhood parking for a fest that costs $34 – $45 per day?
