The Salmon Ladder at Ballard Locks has been quite busy over the past few weeks and has attracted visitors of all kinds.

This sea lion was caught admiring the salmon run while perching on the Ballard Locks Spillway on September 22.

don’t forget to check out the needles, bums and trash heaps while visiting the locks – and you should be sure to feel a sense of guilt for not being a homeless drug addict.

Don’t forget to check-out all the Indians gillnets that have strung back and forth in front of the locks for the last 4 weeks, killing not only coho but endangered species wild chinook also!

Too bad nobody is monitoring these guys.

The bums are clutching their malt cans and enjoying the party at the locks –aka the Ballard jungle.
