During the next few weeks, Seattle Public Utilities’ contractor for the Ballard Natural Drainage Systems project will be wrapping up a few small construction activities and will begin planting in the roadside rain gardens.
Work will include:
- Completing installation of the weirs inside the cells
- Installing concrete pavers
- Finishing concrete sidewalks and curb repairs
- Planting in the roadside rain gardens and planting strips
The contractor will be working throughout the entire project site.
During this time locals can expect temporary parking restrictions, construction equipment in the right of way and related construction noise.
