Ballard Library to offer support to local businesses

Ballard Library is launching a new service to support local businesses, aptly titled Library to Business (L2B).

The Library-to-Business (L2B) project supports entrepreneurial endeavors with information, education, and networking and referral assistance.

Whether you’re a new entrepreneur, an experienced business owner or managing a company, Ballard Library is offering services to help locals succeed.

The Ballard Library team can assist locals in conducting research and finding the right resources for their business.

Learn how to:

  • Size up your industry
  • Discover customer demographics
  • Find information about markets
  • Improve your business skills
  • Find referrals to other business assistance organizations

The L2B team is also hosting a “drop-in” Business Resource open house at Ballard Library on Thursday, November 17, from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

“People who have businesses, want to have businesses or just have an idea can come and meet with community lenders, and organizations that help businesses by giving advice, counseling, etc,” say the organizers.
