The new Bartell Drugs store is now open in the Ballard Commons complex at the intersection of 22nd Ave NW and NW 56th St.
The official grand opening celebration is scheduled for this Saturday, November 19 from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The new store covers more than 14,200-square-feet and is the 65th location in the 125-year-old chain’s regional network.
“Bartell Drugs is proud of its long history in Ballard,” says Bartell President and CEO Brian Unmacht. “We’re excited to build on this tradition with our new store and to continue offering the convenience, service and outstanding lines of quality products.”
The new store’s full-service pharmacy offers a spacious waiting area and a wide range of healthcare options focused on convenience.
Other store features include an expanded cosmetics section showcasing seasonal and on-trend colors, shades and products; a thirst-quenching growler fill spot called “Northwest on Tap” offering locally-crafted microbrews; and our tasty Fresh Food Fast Marketplace food section with a selection of fresh, locally made sandwiches.
The Grand Opening festivities will feature exclusive giveaways including exciting gift baskets, special offers at our growler fill bar, and other great deals throughout the store. The first 200 people through the door will also receive a limited-edition Bartell Tumbler with a Bartell Drugs’ gift card inside, ranging from $5 to $500.
Store hours are 7 a.m.-midnight, seven days a week. Pharmacy hours are 8 a.m. – 10 p.m. Monday through Friday; Saturdays 9 a.m.– 6 p.m. and Sundays 10 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Free parking is available for customers in the parking lot directly under the building for time periods up to 45 minutes.
