Popular neighborhood bookstore Twice Sold Tales has moved to a new location at 2419 NW Market St.

The store was previously housed directly next to Bauhaus Coffee at the corner of NW Market St and 20th Ave NW.

Owner John Watkins moved the store at the beginning of last month and it is all now up and running.

“The new space is about twice as large as our old space, and has a storefront with a big window, so we’re pretty happy about it,” says Watkins.

Watkins has been in the book business in partnership with Jamie Lutton since 1992, with his last Seattle location being in the U-District. He is also a long-time Seattle resident who volunteered at  the Center for Wooden Boats since 1987, and co-founded the Sail Now! sailing instruction program there in 1989.

Twice Sold Tales hours is open from 12 p.m. – 7 p.m. every day, except for Tuesday when it is closed.
