1

The team at Ballard Elks is hosting their first annual Julebukking event this Friday, December 16 from 6 p.m.

Traditionally, during this event, people would dress up, go door to door to sing carols, and were often given treats  of food and drink in return.

To recreate this special celebration Ballard Elks will transform their Grand Lodge Room into a Nordic Village complete with 12 different ‘businesses’, such as a Cobbler, Post Office, Public House, Chapel, Butcher Shop, etc.

The event will also comprise of live music, featuring Piccolino’s resident accordionist, Santa Claus, many different types of Norwegian Bites, in addition to glugg, beer, and Akavit.

Entry to the event costs $20. The event is open to members and their guests.
