Development Update December 29: Units and a family residence

Posted by Danielle Anthony-Goodwin on December 29th, 2016

One application and one decision make up today’s update from the City of Seattle’s Department of Construction and Inspections as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.

Application:

518 NW Bright St

mapfornotice24090

A Land Use Application has been submitted to subdivide one development site into seven unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project #6528775. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots.

Decision:

13265 3rd Ave NW

A Land Use Application has been approved to allow a new single family residence. Parking for one vehicle to be provided.

Appeals of the above decision must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than 1/12/2016.

Oh my god…a single family residence? No row houses or crappy town homes?

@1 – Yeah, the zoning on that parcel is Single Family 9600. They wouldn’t approve multiple units there. It’s not in an Urban Village or anything like that.

The variance was granted to build on a ~4k SF lot that is zoned to have one house per 9600 SF.
