Development Update February 2: Applications, decisions and appeals

One application, two decisions and two appeals make up today’s update from the City of Seattle’s Department of Construction and Inspections as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.

Revised Application:

6416 15th Ave NW

A revised Council Land Use Action application has been submitted to rezone 15,000 sq. ft. of land from Neighborhood Commercial 3 with a pedestrian overlay and 40 ft. height limit (NC3P-40′) to Neighborhood Commercial 3 with a pedestrian overlay and 65 ft. height limit (NC 3P-65′) and to allow a 6-story structure containing 74 residential units above retail and one live-work unit. Parking for 34 vehicles to be provided below grade. Existing structure to be demolished.

Decisions:

2000 NW 61st St

A Land Use Application has been approved to subdivide one development site into six unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project #6480449. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. Environmental Review conducted under Project #3020564.

2636 NW 58th St

A Land Use Application has been approved to subdivide one parcel into two parcels of land. Proposed parcel sizes are: A) 2,997 sq. ft. and B) 2,000 sq. ft. Existing structures to be demolished.

Appeals:

13265 3rd Ave NW

An Appeal Hearing Notice has been released for a Land Use Application that was submitted to allow a new single family residence. Parking for one vehicle to be provided.

The Appeal Hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Office of Hearing Examiner, Room 4000, 700 5th Ave, Seattle Municipal Tower, 40th Floor.

9500 9th Ave NW

An Appeal Hearing Notice has been released for a Land Use Application to subdivide one parcel into two parcels of land in an environmentally critical area. Proposed parcel sizes are: A) 6,809 sq. ft. and B) 2,299 sq. ft. Existing structures to remain.

The Appeal Hearing will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 9 a.m. at the Office of Hearing Examiner, Room 4000, 700 5th Ave, Seattle Municipal Tower, 40th Floor.
