Importance of Being Earnest opens at BHS this week

Posted by Danielle Anthony-Goodwin on May 9th, 2017

The talented team in the Ballard High School Performing Arts Program will present The Importance of Being Earnest this month.

Performances will be held at Ballard High on May 11-13 and 18-20 with the curtain for all performances at 7:30 p.m.

Oscar Wilde’s well-known play is a Victorian era story set in England. The cleverly written script promises plenty of laughs!

Ballard’s Playmakers are in fine form with beautiful costuming and a simply elegant set. As funny as the play is, it is also quite beautiful and whole look is reminiscent of paintings by the old masters.

Locals are invited to come and enjoy some comic lightness as you follow these characters from city to country!

Admission for Adults $15, Students and Seniors $10. Advance tickets are available online.
