The Ballard Library (5614 22nd Ave NW) will offer two upcoming drop-in help sessions for military veterans who are experiencing homelessness. The dates are June 6 and 20 (both Tuesdays) from 10 am to noon each day.
The library will have a veteran specialist from Supportive Services for Veteran Families available to connect people with services to find and keep housing.
They’ll also offer information on the following:
- rapid access to housing
- counseling
- financial planning
- access to transportation
- access to income resources
- help with expenses
- help with legal issues
- access to medical care
