On June 27, WestSide Baby will host a diaper drive and trivia night at Lagunitas Brewery (1550 NW 59th St) to help collect diapers for families in need.
Known as Stuff the Bus, the 17th annual diaper drive is one of several events of a month-long drive that seeks to collect 300,000 diapers for King County families. According to WestSide Baby, in our county there are 10,000 children under 3 years old living below the federal poverty level. In 2016, the organization provided local families with over 1.4 million diapers.
The diaper drive will be from 5:30 to 8:30pm on Tuesday, June 27. If you can’t make it to the event, local branches of HomeStreet Bank and Banner Bank will be collecting diapers in-store throughout July, especially sizes 4,5,6 and pull-ups in sizes 3T-4T and 4T-5T.
