Deer spotted wandering down 24th Ave NW

Posted by Meghan Walker on July 14th, 2017

It seems a deer may have lost its way on Thursday; this photo was posted on Twitter yesterday afternoon.

According to Seattle’s Animal Control, it’s not uncommon for wildlife to occasionally wander through Seattle’s streets. For example, over the years, we’ve had many reports of coyotes in Ballard.

While unlikely that a deer may cause problems, Seattle Animal Control (who doesn’t deal with wildlife reports) says any issues with wildlife should be directed to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife at 425-775-1311.
