Development Update August 7: 40-unit apartment building and rowhouse approval

Today’s update includes an application for a 40-unit apartment building at 15th Ave NW and NW 85th St, and a decision to allow construction of a three-story rowhouse at NW 63rd St and 22nd Ave NW. The information comes from the City of Seattle’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD), as posted in the Land Use Information Bulletin.

Application:

8541 15TH AVE NW

A Land Use Application has been submitted to allow a 4-story apartment building containing 4 small efficiency dwelling units and 36 apartments above retail space. No parking proposed. Existing structure to be demolished.

Comments may be submitted through 08/21/2017

Decision:

2203 NW 63RD ST

A Land Use Application has been approved to allow one 3-story, nine-unit rowhouse structure. Surface parking for nine vehicles to be provided. Existing structures to be demolished. Environmental review includes future unit lot subdivision.

Appeals of this decision must be received by the Hearing Examiner no later than 8/21/2017.
