On Monday, August 14, local White Stripes tribute band The Dead Leaves will play a show to raise money for our local radio station, KBFG (Ballard-Fremont-Greenwood) FM. The concert will be at The Seamonster Lounge (2202 N 45th St) and will start at 7pm.
The Dead Leaves are Seattle’s only White Stripes tribute band, and their performance will be on the exact day of the 20th anniversary of the first-ever live performance by The White Stripes, which was also held at The Seamonster Lounge. Seattle School of Rock Band will open for them, and all proceeds will go to KBFG.
Tickets are $10 advance (available online) and $13 at the door, and the show will be all-ages until 10pm. There will also be a silent auction and raffle prizes to win.
