Chabad of Ballard to offer free holiday services throughout Jewish New Year

The Chabad of NW Seattle (357 N 77th St) has several Jewish New Year services coming up, and they’re offering free and low-donation entry to all in the Jewish community.

“Chabad’s “user-friendly” traditional services make for an enjoyable and meaningful experience for both the beginner and the advanced,” Chabad tells My Ballard. “Song, commentary and the use of English-Hebrew prayer-books invite individuals of all levels to become active participants in the service.”

Rosh Hashanah will begin this year at sundown next Wednesday, September 20 and extends until nightfall on Friday, September 22. Yom Kippur begins this year at sundown on Friday, September 29 and extends until nightfall on Saturday, September 30.
