Celebrate architecture design and local brew at Chadhaus on Oct. 21

A Ballard furniture workshop in the heart of the Ballard brewery district is bringing together local designers and beer lovers for “Beerhaus at Chadhaus” on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 6 to 8pm. The event at Chadhaus (908 NW 50th St) will be opportunity for people to tour the studio while drinking local brews from Stoup, Reuben’s, Lucky Envelope, Populuxe and Peddler. Proceeds from the event will go to the Seattle Architecture Foundation (SAF).

Chadhaus is run by husband-and-wife team Chad and Emily Robertson along with a crew of craftspeople, and they focus on custom pieces created with sustainably harvested Pacific Northwest Woods and local recycled steel.

The event at Chadhaus is part of the SAF’s Design Soiree Series that provides insight into Seattle’s most interesting homes and design studios. Tickets to the event are $35, or $25 for SAF members. According to SAF, proceeds from the event will help the organization connect people to the architecture, design and history of Seattle. SAF also provides “exhibits, talks, architecture walking tours and programs that teach youth how design addresses social issues. SAF reaches more than 6,000 people a year through its programs, events and outreach activities,” according to the organization.
