Scenes from the Christmas Ship’s Ballard visit

The Christmas Ship and its parade of boats visited Ballard yesterday.

Here’s the Argosy ship sparkling in Shilshole Bay:

Before nightfall, the Christmas Ship and its on-board choir entertained visitors at the Ballard Locks:

Diners at Ray’s Boathouse — some surprised by the annual tradition — watched as the ship and its entourage sailed by. (Click the image to play video and listen to the choir):

And it sailed as far north as Carkeek Park before returning to Shilshole Bay Marina to call it a night.
