Tree knocks out power in Carkeek Park area

Updated 12:50 p.m. Power has been restored.

Earlier: Just before noon, a tree branch fell into power lines, knocking out power to 4,171 customers to the north and east of Carkeek Park, according to Seattle City Light.

The areas impacted include Broadview and parts of Bitter Lake. Here’s the outage map.

City Light estimates power will be restored by 3 p.m.
