Home remodeled by Melrose Place star Josie Bissett goes on the market

Longtime Seattle-area resident Josie Bissett — who you may remember as Jane from Melrose Place — bought a house in Ballard last fall as part of a remodeling project with her husband.

The cottage at 910 NW 80th St. NW is now on the market, priced at $799,000.

“It’s so much fun!” Bissett told Seattle Refined in an interview last November. “The demo part is the best, just letting loose.”

She works with her husband, Tom Doig of TRD Construction. The Ballard house is their first project together, reports Curbed Seattle.

“Josie swings a great hammer,” Doig said. “I’ve been in construction all my life so I’m trying to deliver on Josie’s ideas. We complement each other well.”

You may not be surprised to learn that Bissett is also developing a home improvement show.

  1. I see they’ve chosen the tasteful and understated interior.
The kitchen chairs could use more door knockers.

  2. Yippee, our rent just went up, again. Because I can, I have recently raised my rates as a contractor. I have to somehow attempt to now keep up with this stuff. Most can’t. They’ll turn to government, which is part of the problem here. Hope they used good insulated glass and blown in insulation, as 80th is noisy.

  3. @SCOTT: YOU NEED MORE CAPS LOCK TO SHOW HOW SERIOUS AND EDUCATED YOU ARE ON WHATEVER YOU ARE RANTING ABOUT AT THE MOMENT (government? insulation? not really sure).

  4. @Thesis-editing is a well known troll. I tried to use them to complete my dissertation in queer studies, but I did I didn’t pass the review board.

  5. So beautiful home pictures are given in this post. I also love to keep my home beautiful and clean. Therefore, need a family handyman for my home. Have you any idea for any online service that can help me to find it easily?
