Downtown Dog Lounge opening a Ballard location

The locally owned Downtown Dog Lounge is opening a new location in Ballard this fall.  The 7000 square-foot facility will open in late October at 824 NW 46th St, just next to Giddy Up Burgers.

According to Downtown Dog Lounge owner Elise Vincentini, they’ve just started the buildout for the facility, which will have both an outdoor and indoor park. The outdoor park will be the main feature, with faux grass and shipping containers cut out to be little lounges for the pups.

“It’ll be like a Palm Springs resort for dogs,” Vincentini says, adding that they plan to have social events where dog owners can come in and hang out with their pooches.

They’ll start by offering just day-care for the first two months, then in January will offer their full range of services: bathing, grooming, and boarding.

We’ll update when we know more about their exact opening date.

    1. It’s how millennials date. They let their dogs sniff each other’s rectums, then meet in a dog park, aka a ‘safe space’, to consummate their relationship.

  1. Thank you! We are super excited to be moving in to the Ballard community where many of our current pup clients live! taking holiday overnight reservations now for Thanksgiving and Christmas at our Elliott and South Lake Union locations.

  2. I hope they don’t let any old dog in there. My fur daughter was humped at the last dog care facility we attended and the shame on our family was excruciating.
