‘Over the POP: A Cabaret’ coming to Hale’s Ales Palladium

In early May, a cabaret show is coming to Frelard: it’s called Over the POP: A Cabaret, happening at Hale’s Ales Palladium.

This is the third year of the production, produced by Lunaria Dance Theatre and featuring dance theatre, “with elements of burlesque dance, showgirl, musical theatre and comedy with an added twist of belly dance,” with singer Caela Bailey and dancer La Gaviota. The cabaret will run for two nights, Friday and Saturday May 3rd and 4th from 7pm to 9pm.

Producer and director Mellilah Jamal says that creating an experience, “a night out”, is her foremost goal.

“My intention was to create light-hearted, classic entertainment with non-stop dancing, singing and comedy — a fast-paced cabaret-style show performed in an airy space where my guests could move about, socialize and have a drink,” she says. “It’s classy adult entertainment and unlike a traditional burlesque production, the clothes stay on.”

Mellilah is also a well-known, professional belly dancer who has also produced cabaret shows Moon Over Manhattan and Oh My Goldness. She started Lunaria dance company in 2015, teaching belly dancing, theatre, ballet, ballroom, burlesque, tap and jazz dance.

Advanced tickets are recommended, but will also be available at the door until sold out. For more information about the show or to purchase tickets, click here.

Oh and a gentle reminder that our president has fantastic taste in women.
We finally have a feminine woman in the White House. I think this is the real reason for the Trump Derangement Syndrome. Simple envy!
Travel more, VB, and don’t be afraid to dress up.
