Summer concerts at the Locks kicks off in June

The free summer concerts at the Ballard Locks will soon begin, with opening weekend scheduled for the first weekend in June.

On June 1st the Boeing Employees Concert Bank will be playing “lively marches to show tunes and classics.”

June 2nd, the Emerald City Saxophone Quartet will be playing an “incredibly cool and interesting repertoire from classical to jazz,” according to event info.

All band performances are set in the Carl S. English garden, and start at 2pm. Admission is free, but Discover Your Northwest will be accepting donations.
