The annual Leif to Leif 5k Fun Run/Walk is set for Saturday, March 17, starting at 9 a.m. Registration and check-in begins at 8 a.m.

Participants will race from Leif Erikson Lodge to the statue of Leif Erikson on Shilshole Ave NW while raising funds for both the lodge and the Ballard Senior Center. Cost for registration is $10 for adults and $5 for children. All participants will receive a Norwegian flag and a waffle for taking part! Ribbons awarded for top three finishers in each division.

All are welcome to participate and can register online or at the event.

Upon returning to Leif Erikson Lodge, participants will find the Tastes of Norway/Norwegian Heritage Day that is set to kick off at 10 a.m.
