WE CAN: Ban the Bomb

December 10, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

Join us as we celebrate the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN)! Their receipt of the Nobel Peace Prize and successful passage of the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons are historic moments in the fight for a nuclear-free world.

ICAN’s victory is everyone’s victory. So please join us on December 10th, the same day the Nobel Peace Prize is presented in Norway, for WE CAN: Ban the Bomb.

We’ll have food and drinks, music from the Seattle Peace Chorus, and remarks from local leaders including Michael Ramos, Executive Director of the Church Council of Greater Seattle; Kim Nesselquist, Consul of Norway, and Bruce Amundson, President of Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility.

This event is free and open to the public, but we recommend you RSVP using the link below.
