The I also have a soft spot for the OP, the Lock and Keel, and Connor Byrne. Hell there are so many good bars in Ballard, just pick a couple to try out. I don't think you can go wrong. Also, Bastille is great at happy hour and very reasonable. The Stepping Stone is way cool, small, and intimate. I look for a comfortable place to drink with friends that also serves a decent drink for a good price. Fado certainly does have the worst bar food in downtown so it is out for happy hour.
