<description>&#60;p&#62;Writing Bros. is a newly formed writing group that will be holding its next meeting at the Ballard Library on June 1st @ 7 PM. Our focus is science fiction, fantasy, and other forms of speculative fiction.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;We’re looking for writers and aspiring writers in the Seattle area who are interested in getting published and improving their writing.&#60;/p&#62;

I was going for something a little different and I didn't want to exclude any form of writing especially because I myself write anything from Poems to comic book scripts. This way also, I feel that the group is a little more objective since it's not specific to a genre or style. I guess the only restriction might be if you write non-fiction, but even that the group would be there to give you feed back and support.&#60;br /&#62;
But there is a bit of structure like a class in the sense that I suggest assignments every week.

I would like to invite you to join the Happy Hour Writer's Group in Ballard. The writer's in this group come from all different levels of experience and write a variety of genres and formats. So whether you hope to be a successful poet, screenwriter, novelist or take on the dying art of the short story, or even just want to share your work and hear some others, this is the group for you. We are here as a support network, encouraging those of us who need a little push to write SOMETHING every week.&#60;br /&#62;
If you would like to join the group send me an e-mail or come to the meetings. The group meets on Sundays at 4pm at Aster Coffee Lounge located at 5615 24th Avenue NW (two blocks north of Market St.).&#60;br /&#62;
Oh yes, and Aster has Beer and Wine as well as coffee and between 4-7 is Happy Hour. You can get $3 beer on tap and $1 off glass wine.
