Gosh! Zoe Muth is really good! I haven't seen her play live in person, and it's actually the first time I've listened to her music, but you might like her music, too...described as being a little bit garage/folk/country. :-)

No offense, Nora, but if I were her, I would have high-tailed it away from you as well! First impressions while walking alone at night, with valuables, and all that.

*Zoe Muth is considered one of the best country singer-songwriters to hail from Seattle, ever.

That would have been Dave Alvin at the Tractor... after a quick check I discovered that Zoe was Zoe Muth, who was a TBA opening act.

Night before last I was walking up Market Street to the library when I noticed a young woman ahead of me carrying a guitar, a cute little vintage overnight suitcase and a flowered canvas shoulder tote. She seemed to be struggling with all this so I yelled out, "Hey, I'd be glad to help you carry something. I'm headed up Market all the way to Lombardi's so I can totally help you out." Ahhh hahahaha...she looked at me in a semi panic and said she was okay. For some reason I blurted out, "So, what? Are you running away or something?" The poor young woman looked at me and said, "No, I'm opening for (can't remember full name but first or last name was Alvin) at the Tractor so I'm headed down there." I asked her her name and she told me, "Zoe". She continued to walk really fast. I have a pretty good clip myself so after a couple of seconds I said, "you sure have a fast clip for someone carrying all that stuff." Seriously, the woman was freaked out, I'm sure. There are some totally strange-os walking down market street and I'm sure she categorized me as one of them. Oh well. Still makes me laugh...even two days later. Takes so little...
