  1. I recently purchased extra BPA plastic bottles for my sodastream and noticed that their expir dates was 14 months earlier than the bottle that came with the initial system. I brought them back and purchased elsewhere.

These dates are not on the packaging, but on the lower edge (1" up) of the bottle. My replacements have a 7/xx/2014 date. Don't be taken, and purchase old stock.

isn't any BPA plastic bottle bad to drink from? I'll bet the true expiration depends on UV exposure and whether you've heated/cooled the bottle.

    thanks for the clarification.

they make glass bottles for these devices, too, yes?

I guess if you're like me, you'd drop/break the glass bottle before the bpa-free plastic ones expire :)
