  1. Hello everyone. As a devout Ballard Pastafarian, I feel that it is important to spread the words and beliefs of my religion, bringing it to all those who may otherwise have had no knowledge of it.

Please note that this is in no way a joke. The FSM Church is a real, legitimate religion, as much as any other. If interested you can find out more about the Church and what it has to offer here.

I thank you for your time and in conclusion will leave you with a quote from The Most Reverend disciple Ishmali Camuwundra on the Flying Spaghetti Monster:

“Let us sing praise to the Flying Spaghetti Monster, for He is a loving God. Of His might and dominion, there is no compare; of His mercy and deliciousness, there is no equal. No other god can challenge Him; in the taste test, He is invincible. Through His pasta, He has blessed us with everlasting life, and holy is His Name. For He is the Flying Spaghetti Monster: the One, True, and Most High God, creator of man and midgit, giver of pasta, giver of sauce, from age to holy age; not created He was, but ever He lives, through the glory of spaghetti, now and forever. R'Amen.”

"The FSM Church is a real, legitimate religion, as much as any other."

I'd guess that I'm the only one in these parts to take exception to that nonsense.

    Yet, I love pasta.

    Call me bitterly conflicted.

  6. onederfullone: The Church does not discriminate whatsoever. We have members of all ages, races, sexual orientations, and indeed, even of other religions. The fact that many see this is as a satirical religion simply does not change the fact that by any standard one can come up with, our religion is as legitimate as any other. And that is the point.

dsomers: Brother, may the prayer of the great prophet Ragu be upon you:

Our saucer which art in a colander, draining be Your noodles. Thy noodle come, Thy meatballness be done on earth, as it is meaty in heaven. Give us this day our daily sauce, and forgive us our lack of piracy, as we pirate and smuggle against those who lack piracy with us. And lead us not into vegetarianism, but deliver us from non-red meat sauce. For thine is the colander, the noodle, and the sauce, forever and ever. R'Amen.

it's been around for ages. Was a counter to intelligent design. I don't know why it's getting the media attention NOW but it's nothing new.

I explored a Tennessee town named Crossville, in 2008, while my friend went to her yoga class. On the courthouse lawn stood a display of FSM signs and a statue of the FSM itself. Because Cumberland County could not discriminate, up went the display. It was an abomination, according to the local bible thumpers.

  13. The Flying Spaghetti Monster has also visited our fair city in the past. I was also lucky enough to be touched by His Noodly Appendage. It was easily one of the most memorable moments of my life.

Who is this? Is that you Tolbert?

This is one of the Sybil posters. The German, the Korean, or the troll. They all sound the same.

Have a few more bong hits. Maybe your future posts will be worth reading.

R'amen brothers and sisters. My sturdy mount, The Flash, is sporting a chrome FSM sticker.

I still don't get the pirate part, but will research the good book further when I have time.

Wasn't the FSM in the Fremont Solstice parade either this year or last?

FSM was in the Solstice Parade this year, with crowds of devotees handing out sacred raw macaroni products.

  28. Couldn't make it out to the Solstice Parade this year. But I am sure my fellow FSM brothers and sisters reached many people.

oldguybc interpret the word of the Prophet Ragu as you will:

"And lead us not into vegetarianism, but deliver us from non-red meat sauce."
