Now I see that he'll be opening for Dave Matthew's Band this summer. He also has one of the songs he wrote ("Say so")in the new Eddie Murphy movie. Talk about rising star!!!

Can someone get this guy to wear some new frames?

  5. All I care about is his voice. He's one of the most naturally talented musicians live to come out of the state in quite awhile. Friday Mile were equally great, but they aren't together anymore.

    These two performances for example:

I agree, he sings well. But performers' looks are important to me. I'm not talking about their "natural beauty." I'm talking about how they act on stage and how they dress. You know, the SHOW? He should just ditch grandma's frames. They distract.

To each his own. I love his voice and delivery and moves. Joyful. Real. He feels the music with each song. The music is what matters to me.

And I forgot to add that he'll be on the Jimmy Kimmel Show in 6 days.

Allen Stone will be on the Jimmy Kimmel Show tonight. I now see that he's got an international tour, and will tour with Daryl Hall.(Forbes article).

  10. That was really kind of a lackluster performance compared to times that I've heard him in the past. The choice to make his vocals so choppy didn't do it for me. I think he would have been much better off sticking with the songs original smoother vocals.

I agree. I was disappointed. I didn't like it at all. Too frantic. I'll go back to the Live at Daryl's House Episode 51. I love every song on that.

yeah, this guy needs an image make-over.

he's got that Stevie Wonder sound without the cool sunglasses.

his seems to model his appearance on 'Garth' from Wayne's World.

he's got a real face for radio all right!

Allen Stoned from the look of the guy. He's no Urethra Franklin that's for damn sure.
