  1. I'm pleased to announce the opening of a new community acupuncture practice in Ballard: One Heart Community Acupuncture (PLLC) located at 1800 NW Market Street, Suite 210, above Ballard Blossom flower shop. Our rates are based on a sliding scale, from $15 - $40; you decide what you can afford. Acupuncture is a natural form of healing that works with the body's inherent healing ability to do things like help restore and increase your level of energy, promote relaxation and relieve stress, and eliminate pain. I have over 15 years experience in acupuncture (in particular a gentle Japanese style), and we have other excellent practitioners including dual-trained naturopath-acupuncturists working here. Please visit our website at http://ohca.biz to learn more. We're also offering a free clinic for veterans, see the website for details. We look forward to working with you!

"Acupuncture is a natural form of healing..."

Again, what is it you claim to heal?

iPlod, it's a classified ad. You've listened to enough Devo to start your own thread on this.

  9. I already responded on another thread, but for anyone interested you can check my alternative medicine blog at http://acunews.wordpress.com for a selection of the latest studies and articles on the benefits of Chinese medicine. You can also check your favorite search engine for the National Institutes of Health consensus statement on acupuncture, and the World Health Organization's review of acupuncture.

At One Heart, we make our prices very affordable so that folks can give it a try and decide for themselves whether it works for them.

I "believe" in the efficacy of the placebo effect, gi.

As Archimedes explained, the placebo effect is what swells a puck into a sphere.
