   Looking for recommendations for someone to paint interior rooms/trim as well as the exterior of our house. Any recommendations? Local preferred. Reliable, Reasonable, and Quality work desired. thanks!

   We had our interior painted last year and were extremely pleased with the results. We were able to stay in our house the entire time and at the end of the day, other than the walls being a different color, you would never know anyone was there. I know they do exteriors too, because we waited until the height of summer to paint and they fit us in around their exterior work.

   The other day my designer (Barry Senter in Ballard) said he had been very impressed with the painting work done by on some projects by Peter Mertel at Eastlake Paint Company.

   I will DEFINITELY second the referral for Pete Mertel at Eastlake Paint Co. We had our front room re-painted right before Thanksgiving and my in-laws and I finally had something to talk about! :-) I look at it now and it makes me smile, every morning.

   We also had a spare bedroom repainted by Pete last week and he had it completely finished in a day and a half, allowing for drying time and two coats of paint. He does everything by hand and the borders and molding have never looked better!
