Chances are you are just sitting down next to it anyway. It amazes me the amount of people especially in the work place that leave an empty sitting there. I also get a kick out of the people that refuse to change it out but open a new roll and place it on the counter less than a foot away .. Seriously

And I thought this thread would be about the community toilet at Ballard commons.

I think my new avatar is making my mind wonder. In all seriousness I just went to use the restroom at work and there was an empty roll hanging there and a T P roll on the counter. It has always been one of my biggest pet peeves. If the roll is empty at Ballard Commons I am blaming GI.

Oh come on, get a real full on picture of the Hole at Ballard Commons! We need to see the things people can't take with them, we need to see all that leaves their behind.

    Hey, isn't that a U2 album?

Always left with scraps dangling from an empty tube. New roll just out of reach.

Maybe I should just call 911 next time?

    It's just a matter of time I suppose...lol.

So this is what gets to me. A roll that is not on the holder that has been used, means someone probably picked it up and had a fair amount of their hands on it in order to hold it and get whatever amount of paper they needed. Their hands aren't especially clean at that time. Probably. At least on the holder there is minimal touching to the actual roll. Rolls of TP that are used but not on the holder aren't my preferable way of TP retrieval.

Eewwwww .. Thanks teigyr .. FML

I never thought about that before and most people don't wash there hands between doing there business and reaching for the TP. What if they didn't grab enough paper the first time and go back for seconds ? YUCH !!! I guess you can remove a few layers before using but that wouldn't be politically correct and I would have to turn in my earth card :(

I guess in the future for me it is BYOTP

yeah about what about opening the stall? Their hands have touched that too. It's not like you can get away from it but somehow the TP roll seems worse because the cardboard center and TP itself is porous and probably absorbs whatever nastiness is there.

When I worked at the airport, I heard someone having phone sex in the stall next to me. We waited to see who came out, was the woman who worked at the bagel place. She did not wash her hands.

    The more you know.

I wonder if he made the holes in the bagels for her. Maybe she teased him for cheap labor cost.

I'm not really sure because half the stuff was in their head. Education? The dog being yelled at? If they aren't a troll, and they might be, there might be a really obvious explanation for their user name.

I'm mixed on the cdpenne theory. It might be, there are certain similarities BUT one admirable thing about cdpenne is he is who he is. He doesn't hide (to my knowledge) behind a fake user name and he owns what he writes.

I would not have gone after you PG. You are mistaken if you think I have some personal vendetta. I've said it before and I'll say it again. You started in on me when I called out Poker for saying some foul stuff which he later deleted, and you called me a liar and a few other choice words. Anyway, bygones.

Speaking of bygones... My last run in with Poker over his foul treatment of the BHS drill team lead to my change of name and avatar. Or rather the swedes completely locking 'cdpenne', avatar editing and all, did. Don't ask me why they froze my account and not Poker's. They would not respond to my email request for an explanation.

Anyway, they eventually allowed me to create a new character using a school email. Or maybe they weren't sure it was me or not. I don't see how that could be since my identity has never been a secret. Whichever, I operate under the assumption that they have me on a short leash. So be it.

I chose a raven because they are my favorite animal. Ask Vegan some day. He'll tell you. I couldn't think of any thing else. Whatever, it works.

As for keeping this new identity a secret... I haven't shouted it from the mountain tops but I haven't hidden it either...

If you watch the video it clearly shows made by cdpenne. I'm surprised Iplod didn't see that but I guess he thinks anyone who contends with the copious amount of well penned BS that comes from Edog, must be cdpenne. I have to admit, I do rather enjoy locking horns with Edog and many others (Oneder is certainly a favorite), but no, I never typed anything as Ballardbuzz. S/he will have to stand on his or her own.

    So there you have it.

I'm done with school, I have a brand new certification in my hand, and will be working long hours away from home. I'll be a part time user at best any way.

    Thanks and Thanks :)

In a very remote outhouse on the Ressurection Trail in Alaska, I read bit of a rhyme that went something like this...

"Here I sit in stinking vapor
    Someone forgot the toilet paper
    Hours later I still linger
Guess I'll have to use my ..."

I'm pretty sure there was more. The topic of this thread reminded me of that time.

    There was another one...

Here I sit all broken hearted
Tried to _______ but only _______"

Later I read that a woman who worked as a ranger had fallen through the floor in one of those outhouses on the same trail, and waited several days for rescue. The mere mention of it gave me nightmares. But I'm all better now. I used the one at the Commons again today. Very nice.

Corvus, that is sad and strange. For all the lack of censorship here sometimes, or rather maybe an appearance of "hands off", I'm surprised you were a target. You might not agree with something and you certainly speak your mind but you never pretend to be someone you're not. On this forum, it can be a valuable trait.

In keeping with the subject of this thread -

I am Captain Kirk, and you Edog are a Klingon. You can sing whatever you like, but the probe will still find you.

    KAPLAGH!

I have to admit I've always like the bluntness afforded by the Klingon lifestyle, but in real life I am much more of a Captain Kirk than most people can hope to be. Its not always a good thing, but now the days are sure, I'm in the autumn of the year and now I think of my life I've become much more of a Pickard. Still it was a very good year.
