Look in garages, sheds, basements - yours and neighbors. Not unusual for cat to go into one & get locked in. Cats have even been found in closets & for whatever reason didn't get vocal about being locked in there. Of course, posters and walking around asking kids, neighbors. Good luck. I did all the above & nine days later mine was found in basement of house. Little skinnier but otherwise just fine. Good luck!

Posters at pet stores and vets with a good picture. We put one in petco ( in addition to the 250 on every pole we could find while walking around asking anyone we could find if they'd seen him) and 5 weeks (yup weeks) later someone had found the guy we lost just a few days before and was going to get pet food for him - her tuna had run out : ) And she called. He had gone about 2 miles from the house by then. He was pretty beat up by other cats but happy to be home. Try it all and don't give up hope.

If you have a pic and are able to post it in your avatar it may help others get a better description of what to look for.

I agree. We had our cat disappear for 5 weeks. She came home, long after we thought she was gone for good, super skinny. The only explanation is that she was snooping around in a neighbor’s shed or something and got locked in between lawn mowings. So have the neighbors check their garages, basements, etc. Our neighbors cat tries to sneak in all the time when doors are open. Curiosity kills the cat!
