I'm surprised Yun's on Market & 20th has closed. They looked like they were keeping busy.

Isn't this the place that always seemed to have LOTS of students? Especially yonnger ones? I hate to see dojos close.

  4. No no no. We have enough bars now. What we're really in dire need of is another Thai Resturaunt.

I believe Grand Master Yun retired then sold his business to a new, younger Master who will re-open this fall.

Maybe the geeky swedes can confirm this.

I used to train there, quit when my kid was born. It was a good school, though very focused on the kids.

I've been hoping to go back, and to get my daughter started there, in a few years. I hope you're right, great idea, that the plan is to regroup and reopen.

You're correct, great idea... Grand Master Yun has had health issues making it harder and harder to run the business side. One of his former instructors, Master Yun (no relation), is hoping to take it over though I haven't heard how it's going.

It was a special school and great place for students in its heyday and I hope it reopens!
