   Hi new neighbors!

   I just recently moved to the Ballard area and, while showing off the new place to my sister, her little guy Jack snuck out of the backyard to explore the world. He is a small black Shiba Inu wearing a black leather collar (she just moved as well and had removed his tags with the old information, not yet attaching his new tags), is friendly and child safe, and responds to the name Jack (when he feels like it. Shibas are quite independant creatures). His journey began near the corner of NW 64th and 17th.

   If you have seen him trotting around your neighborhood please reply to this post and I'll send you my contact information. I really appreciate all of your help and look forward to getting to know the area!

   Welcome to Ballard and the forum, sorry it was a lost dog that brought you to the forum. If you have a picture of Jack try to upload it as your avatar pic so we know what he looks like. And how big is a Shiba Inu?
   Fair number of lost pets on here and some people have had success calling all the local vets, putting up flyers (with a picture) in the neighborhood and contacting the Seattle Animal shelter. Hope Jack fins his way home.
