I need to have a couple of window screens made for a few windows in our apartment. (Long story about why, rather not go through landlord).

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to have this done?

Crown Hill Hardware, 85th and 15th advertises re-screening on their reader board.

If you need new screens made (as opposed to getting existing damaged screens rescreened) we have had several screens made by Windorco up in Crown Hill, and been happy with their work. It's important (we learned the hard way) to measure carefully, so if you go that route be sure to talk to whoever is making the screen first.

Thanks for the secondary rec, MagdaT.

Quick questions about Crown Hill Hardware: is it re-screening ONLY or will they make new screens?

I ask because ours is a case of getting new screens (not repairing damaged ones) for windows that have never had a screen on them since we moved in.

I got called an a-hole on another thread for making a similar suggestion, so I hesitate to bring it up, and do so only with the best intentions at heart, but why don't you just give them a call and ask if they can make you new ones?

Not an a-hole at all. Just hoping someone knows off the top of their head because I keep forgetting to make the call during my lunch hour and they're closed by the time I get off work. Worse case is I find out on Saturday.
