Last year I found out about the Brooks Shoe sale via this forum. Does anyone have info on another sale this year?

It happened Oct 5-7. I'm sorry, I try to be diligent but also don't want to spam the forum. I *really* need to set up an e-mail list or some kind of notification. If I do, are you interested? I guess in the future I should just spam away - esp because this sale included Pure Project shoes.

Damn, Pure Project was on sale? Crap. I tried to find info online a while ago, but couldn't find anything. I would be down for a mailing list or just posting on here.

Know any scoopage on the new Brooks HQ on Stone Way and where in the process they are? I hope that goes thru, they would be a great addition to that neighborhood.

I would like to be on some kind of mailing list for this also :-) I buy mine on ebay and get some good deals, but you have to really know which style/year shoe you want and your exact size. Being able to go to a brick and mortar would be better...

I don't know where Brooks is in the process, last I'm seeing is late 2013 for the move.

Yeah, Pure Project was there! I wasn't able to be at the sale this fall because it conflicted with Portland so I was a bit out of it. The new Pure Projects will be out the end of this year, beginning of next year and there is a new model, the Drift. http://talk.brooksrunning.com/2012/05/21/pureproject-just-got-even-lighter-introducing-the-puredrift/

PDaddymom, the outlet store is in Bothell and there are always great deals. The sale means you get fantastic deals but there are always really good shoes up there. They don't sell "made for outlet store" shoes and there might be some sale leftovers up there too.

    Outlet Address:

    Brooks Outlet - Bothell, WA
    22627 Bothell-Everett Hwy, Suite C
    Bothell, WA 98021
    Phone: 425-402-1632
    Get directions

    Hours listed in Pacific time
    Monday - Friday 10am - 7pm
    Saturday 10am - 6pm
    Sunday 11am - 5pm

They're really great if you have questions, you can always call first.

So I'm setting up a notification e-mail list. The next sale will be Spring sometime, probably May. The e-mail address is teig26.2 at g mail. This address will only be used for that purpose and I won't spam you or use it for anything else :) Let me know if you want to be included in the list, that will make it easier just to do a mass e-mail if there is anything going on.

teigyr - I am assuming you work for Brooks. I was working the Cascade Bicycle Club table at the Nordstrom Corporate Wellness Fair downtown on 6th Ave last Wednesday and the vendor behind me was from Brooks! They had a treadmill setup with an iPad at foot level that recorder the feet and they were able to analyze peoples feet to recommend different types of shoes! Very neat.
And one of the guys told me that the new building in Fremont will be a "living" building!
    Quite impressive.
When they move, will you have a shorter commute? Maybe a bicycle commute?
FYI this is a great outfit for walkers and runners:

VB, thanks for that link! I had not seen it before.

No, I don't work for Brooks. They have been (and still are) very good to me. If I didn't 100% believe in both the company and the quality of merchandise, I wouldn't promote them as I do. The treadmill set-up is pretty darned incredible, isn't it. You should see their weartesting treadmill, it's complex (at least I think so) and really intriguing. It can show footstrike patterns and each side (each foot) is on a separate belt.

Fremont will be nice. Where they are now has a lot of nice run trails around it but I think it will be good for them to be more in town. Plus if they do have a concept store, and I think there's been talk about it, it would be good to have one place where everything is. Shoes tend not to be as much of a problem but with clothing, run store and outdoor clothing places only devote a certain amount of space to the brand so it's hard to see everything there is.
