http://www.neuticles.com/ it's what all the well-dressed cats are wearing. Lest their human counterparts be jealous, the company also makes jewelry so you can match :)

So, I clicked right to the last post, and seeing that the discussion has devolved to Neuticles, I'm now afraid to page back to see how that even happened......

Good god. That is huge. Yep, longer than Pickles total body. Her tail is probably 3" at most. People always comment on her little fat tail.

strange, but one of the parties seems way more into sleazy tactics than the other(s) in this election. story about a election worker in Oregon altering ballots...the helpful folks trying to gather up ballots in S. Seattle. problems in other states too.

desperate times call for desperate measures i guess.

Hey, Oneder, if I find my orange hat, do you want sauce on it, or straight up?

I had to laugh when Palin said the campaign was run poorly even before any one had called it. Tonight, I enjoyed watching Fox.

"tap, tap, tap" - that is the sound of me doing the happy dance. I wasn't going to watch but I would check in every once in awhile. Then I stopped. Fell asleep, woke up & turned back to 4 & announcing Obama won. Like Pennygirl, I thought now I can sleep. Stopped & got newspapers this morning (great picture on front page Seattle Times). I save major event newspapers.
Not many happy people at work (99% Republican). Talk is only negative and complaining - of course. Not surprising. But I'm not like them, - I won't be rubbing it in their face. I can celebrate inwardly knowing WE WON!

I'm with a co-worker that's a bit depressed that pot is winning 55-45 while marriage equality is only up 52-48. She asks, "Is pot really more important than civil rights?"

@boatgeek, IMHO civil rights shouldn't be put to a majority vote in the first place, and unfortunately when you let people vote on stuff the result often has nothing to do with what's "more important".

That being said, a win is a win, and it was pretty damn refreshing to see our state do the right thing, and hopefully we're setting an example for the rest of the country.

The bitter hissing on conservative AM radio this morning was absolutely delicious to my ears. Probably a small consolation but at least Rmoney won every state… where it is legal to marry your cousin.

Very astute analysis of the failure of the conservative media.

Conservatives were at an information disadvantage because so many right-leaning outlets wasted time on stories the rest of America dismissed as nonsense.

Maybe a few bonghits will chill some people out and make them think more compassionately towards civil rights.

Don't tell them, but if the Republicans went "Free Enterprise" on the pot thing, "Libertarian" on the marriage thing, backed the hell up off of women’s rights, and quit crapping on minorities, they *might* have a future. Otherwise, they are finally, deservedly, toast. If they don’t change they will die off.

I guess that depends on one’s flavor of libertarianism, but I disagree at a lower level. I don’t think a pure libertarian society could work due to the inherent flaws of human beings. There will always be people who, as they gain power, begin to see themselves as “above the law” and abuse the public trust. The noble lie, all that bull crap. This is what government is for, to check the selfish, evil, and insane when their behavior goes beyond their own pursuit of happiness, into depriving others of their own. That and smacking down other countries that threaten us. We need government and to pretend otherwise is irresponsible.

To all the PURE libertarians out there I say, don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out, and don’t come crying to us when Argentina “nationalizes” Galt’s Gulch and takes your pot of gold.
