   Smartsy - thanks for sharing that. Sure glad I hadn't put on my makeup yet. I will never ever understand how anyone can abuse a totally defenseless animal. One of my dogs I got at shelter was due to be euthenized that night. I overheard an Animal Control person saying that & reason "because he was so ugly." I asked to see the dog & it was love at first sight. Alex was adorable - his legs were a little long for his body & made him look almost deer-like. Had him for many, many loving years.
