   I just went outside. There are fireworks and sparklers on every block I can see.

   gi, wrote that idea down on my bucket list

   It still takes my by surprise that we know so much by this hour on election night. Of course on the east coast, it is an all night ordeal waiting and listening to the results.

   I thought it we would know about Ohio by midnight out this way, but when I saw how well Obama was doing in the early counties in Florida, and that Sen. Brown (D-OH) was called so early, I suspected it would not be that late after all.
